SOFTWARE ENGINEER I
Job Description:
The job requires basic understanding of the occupation and performing routine tasks under close supervision with specific instructions on required tasks and expected results. Software Engineer-I is responsible for development and testing of software applications used for design and implementation of wireless network infrastructure under supervision of team lead.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and testing software modules following the design patterns set by team lead
- Develop unit test cases and perform/document unit test cases of assigned components.
- Analyse and resolve database performance issues.
- Should be able to create and update existing data flow diagrams and document the process
- Create simple stored procedures
- Ability to install/upgrade 3rd party software
Qualifications & Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent field
- Requires 1-3 year of work experience
- Familiarity with .NET Framework, C#/VB.NET programming experience
- Excellent communications skills and willingness to learn new concepts
- Wireless coursework a huge plus
